CLS is a new program in the Department of English at NYU that brings contemporary authors to the campus and into the undergraduate classroom. In the past, CLS brought novelist Mark Z. Danielewski and Pulitzer Prize winning poet Tracy K. Smith, while this semester’s visitors include novelists Jonathan Franzen and Zoe Heller.
